Undergraduates
Send the following materials: (1) a cover letter, describing your career goals and interest in research, (2) unofficial transcripts, please note that a full year or organic chemistry is strongly preferred, (3) a current curriculum vitae. Deliver a hard copy to Professor Bachmann’s office in 7961 Stevenson Center.
Prospective Graduate students
Please use the process for applying to the Graduate Chemistry Program or the Interdisiplinary Graduate Program and The Quantitative & Chemical Biology Program at Vanderbilt. Please contact Professor Bachmann via email in advance of your visit to schedule a meeting.
Prospective postdoctoral fellows
Outstanding candidates will provide (1) a cover letter outlining your career goals and scientific interests, (2) and updated copy of your curriculum vitae including a list of peer reviewed publications, including in press publications, but not submitted publication, (3) PDF copies of two of your most relevant first author peer-reviewed publications in internationally recognized journals, and (4) three letters of recommendation sent to Professor Bachmann. All post-doctoral researchers are expected to apply for external funding.
